Where we’ll be and what you’ll see: Amazon Freight events season
Gone are the days of fully virtual conferences and the shipping world is taking advantage of it. September is a busy month for events and Amazon Freight will be out and about across the country. We hope to see you out there to learn about your shipping needs and what our teams can do to support your business.
Here’s where you can find Amazon Freight this month.
Amazon Accelerate
If you’re an Amazon Seller, you should be at Accelerate. It’s Amazon’s official gathering of sellers, big and small, to see what’s new and learn from Amazon experts and other sellers what it takes to grow sales and improve your operations. It takes place September 12-14 in Seattle, WA.
You’ll want to start your visit at an easy-to-find landmark: just look for the Amazon Rivian van located in the lobby of the Partner Connect Expo Hall. Amazon is rolling out these customized electric delivery vehicles and now you can get an up-close look at one. Once you’re there, pick up an Amazon Shipper Corner map to see all of the transportation services at the conference that Amazon has to help your business. You can also participate in an activity to enter a drawing for a $450 Amazon.com Gift Card.
At the Amazon Freight booth, meet with our inbound shipping team to assess your freight needs and find out what is the best option for you. Then take a spin in our truck simulator to see what driving behind an actual tractor feels like. It’s the same type of simulator drivers use to train before they go on the road. And don’t forget to get a little pick-me-up with a complimentary espresso.
On day two of the conference, you’ll be able to hear from one of our inbound shipping experts and former Amazon Seller. Max Sadler, Head of Amazon Freight Inbound Sales, will dive deep into Amazon Freight and the Partnered Carrier Program via Seller Central, two reliable and affordable ways to get your goods inbound to Amazon. It takes place on September 13 at 1:15 p.m. in the Selling Partner Presentation Theater #3 within the Partner Connect Hall.
Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) EXPO
Further down the west coast in Long Beach, CA, we’ll also be attending IANA’s marque event for the year. It’s happening September 11-13 and we’ll be there with other intermodal professionals to learn about developments in the industry and how organizations are advancing the intermodal supply chain.
Come see the Amazon Freight intermodal team in our booth (#812). Our reps will be on hand to learn about your business and show how our budding intermodal offering can help. On the afternoon of September 12, we’ll be sponsoring the network reception so come join us for light snacks and refreshments in the Expo Hall.
Plus, it is an intermodal conference, so you’ll be able to experience the trucking mode. The driving simulator will be here as well, so take a turn behind the wheel and see what a big rig feels like.
E2open Connect
Technology undoubtedly continues to transform the transportation world and guide it through global shifts. e2open Connect is a chance to see it all in action September 11-14 in Orlando, FL.
Stop on by and meet the Amazon Freight team of shipping and technology experts. They’ll help analyze your shipping needs and show how the Amazon network and our 50,000+ trailers and carriers can deliver for you. You can see how Amazon’s network of trailer assets and e2open’s cutting-edge transportation management system give shippers access to instant capacity and real-time rates to book their loads.
On September 12 at 1:45 p.m. in the Philippine Sea Room, see what Amazon Freight is doing to serve the country’s largest shippers. Matt Harris, Head of Enterprise Sales at Amazon Freight, will uncover what makes Amazon Freight tick and how it can help shippers.
Whether it’s on the west or east coast next week or another event later in the year, we hope to see you out there.
