The right tools make booking, tracking, and managing freight shipping easy. No waiting for a response to your tracking follow-up email. No long hold times over the phone. No wondering if your shipment made it to its destination. With Amazon Freight’s self-service online portal, everything you need to know about your load is at your fingertips.
Let’s talk about how those tools can fit into your workday and give you confident control.
Book and track freight shipments online
Time is money. You shouldn’t have to wait for a phone call or email when you’re ready to book a load. That’s why Amazon Freight makes it easy to book and track shipments online.
To get started, create your shipper account, complete a quick offline onboarding process, and follow the prompts to schedule a shipment—whether you’re moving goods inbound to an Amazon Fulfillment Center or to an external warehouse of your choice. A helpful tip is to make sure you save your locations (address and operating hours) for easy quoting and booking in the future.
Once your load has been picked up, you can track its progress through your shipper account at any time. All our trailers are equipped with GPS technology to enhance your visibility into each load. If there’s a delay or an ETA change, that information will also be available in your shipment tracking view.
We believe transparency is the key to a successful working relationship. So, whether you’re booking a new load or tracking an existing shipment, you can expect to find the details you need in the portal.
Access and print freight shipment details
Managing your freight online means the important details and documents are always within reach.
Say you forgot to print your bill of lading (BOL) when you first created your shipment. The phone was ringing off the hook, emails were piling up, and the day just got away from you. Working with Amazon Freight means you don’t have to worry. Log in to your shipper account to view, download, and print the BOL or other shipment documents to keep everything on track.
You can also view details of completed shipments through your shipper account. Access the exact delivery time, total cost, electronic payment confirmation, and proof of delivery (POD) as soon as everything’s finalized. These details are especially useful for planning future loads and can even be referenced when settling a claim.
Edit or reschedule shipments with a few clicks
Change is an inevitable part of freight shipping. As a shipper ourselves, we understand the importance of flexibility when facing disruptions. That’s why the portal makes it easy to adjust your freight when changes occur.
If you’ve worked with Amazon Freight before, you know that our operations center is here to help. However, using the portal to edit or reschedule a shipment can be ideal when time is of the essence. Log in to your account to view all your active shipments in one organized list. From there, use the ‘Actions’ column to quickly edit shipments, view details, and more.
Pro tip: Shipments inbound to Amazon fulfillment centers must be edited before an inbound appointment (ISA) is assigned and the shipment is confirmed.
Manage billing and invoicing with ease
Need an easier way to manage your freight finances? Our self-service online portal has you covered.
Log in to your shipper account to manage all your Amazon Freight invoices in one place. Details of all your completed shipments will be available here as well, giving you full insight into how many loads were sent and the costs associated with each. Use the ‘Actions’ column of the Billing & Payments table to download an invoice, view BOLs, and even file a claim if necessary. Visiting this section of the portal regularly can help limit financial surprises at month’s end.
